PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information Packie ("we", "us") collects and how we use it. We keep it short and in plain language. Packie is currently in a pre-launch stage; the mobile app is not yet publicly available.

In short: this website does not run advertising or sell your data. If you email us, we use your address only to reply. When the app launches, photos you take are used to identify your items.

1. Information we collect

When you email us (e.g. hello@packie.ai): your email address and whatever you choose to write, used only to respond and keep a record of the conversation.
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Our hosting provider may process basic technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The app (when launched): photos you capture to identify cartridges or collectibles, and the collection entries you save. We will update this policy with full app details before launch.

2. How we use information

To reply to your messages and send the launch notification you requested.
To operate, secure and improve the website and the future app.
To run AI recognition on photos you submit, returning the identification result to you.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising. We do not use your photos to train models without making that clear and giving you a choice.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Packie (for example, our hosting and email providers), and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to support you, and remove it on request. App data-retention details will be added before launch.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@packie.ai. You can unsubscribe from launch notifications by replying to any message.

7. Children

Packie is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Packie develops, especially ahead of the app launch. We will revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
